THIS ONE-DAY ART FAIR WITH OVER 120 VENDORS BROUGHT OVER 8,000 PEOPLE TO DOWNTOWN BERKLEY DRAWING ATTENTION TO THE LOCAL STORES AND RESTAURANTS ON 12 MILE RD. IN DOWNTOWN BERKLEY.BERKLEY STREET ART FEST THIS STREET ART FEST TOOK PLACE THE FIRST SATURDAY IN AUGUST. IT BROUGHT MORE THAN 3,000 PEOPLE TO BERKLEY. THIS FESTIVAL TRANSFORMED DOWNTOWN BERKLEY WITH ART AS CHALK ARTISTS OF ALL ABILITIES CREATED COLORFUL STREET ART WITH CHANCE TO WIN CASH PRIZES. COMMISSIONED ARTIST, DAVID ZINN, CREATED CHALK ART BOTH TEMPORARY AND PERMANENT ON COOLIDGE HWY. IN ADDITION, THIS FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENT OFFERED OPPORTUNITIES FOR GUESTS TO CREATE ART IN VARIOUS WORKSHOPS, SHOP ARTIST BOOTHS AND ENJOY LIVE MUSIC, ENTERTAINMENT AND MORE!
