AS THE ONLY ANIMAL SHELTER IN GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, CHERRYLAND HUMANE SOCIETY PROVIDES CARE FOR THE LOST, UNWANTED AND NEGLECTED ANIMALS OF OUR COMMUNITY. WE SUPPORT THE WELL BEING OF PEOPLE AND ANIMALS BY FOSTERING GREATER AWARENESS AND FOCUS UPON THE ROLE OF VARIOUS COMMUNITY INSTITUTIONS IN CREATING SOLUTIONS TO THE ROOT CAUSES OF COMPANION ANIMAL HOMELESSNESS, NEGLECT, CRUELTY AND VIOLENCE.
