URBAN SENIORS JOB TRAINING PROGRAM - THIS PROGRAM IS FUNDED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR TO PLACE LOW-INCOME PERSONS WHO ARE 55 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER IN PART-TIME COMMUNITY SERVICE POSITIONS AND TO ASSIST THEIR TRANSITION TO UNSUBSIDIZED EMPLOYMENT.
WOMEN, INFANTS, AND CHILDREN PROGRAM - FUNDED BY THE STATE OF MICHIGAN, THIS PROGRAM PROMOTES HEALTH SERVICES, NUTRITION EDUCATION, AND DISTRIBUTION OF WOMEN, INFANTS, AND CHILDREN COUPONS TO ELIGIBLE FAMILIES. AN AFFILIATED BREASTFEEDING PEER COUNSELOR PROGRAM IS ALSO INCLUDED IN THIS PROGRAM AREA.
