DECARBONIZATION PROGRAM THE FORT WAYNE URBAN LEAGUE (FWUL) IS PARTNERING WITH THE MIDWEST BUILDING DECARBONIZATION COALITION TO STUDY AND BOLSTER RESEARCH INTO ADVANCING EFFICIENT, CARBON-FREE PASSIVE HOUSE STANDARDS IN BUILDING PROJECTS SUPPORTED BY LOW-INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDITS. THE GOAL IS TO HELP MAKE AFFORDABLE HOUSING MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT. THE FWUL WILL SET UP MEETINGS BEGINNING IN EARLY 2022 WITH INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IMPACTED BY CARBON EMISSIONS. FRESH ENERGY, IS SPONSORING THE PROGRAM. FINANCIAL TRAINING SERVICES MONEY SMART - KIDS WILL BE SAYING "I'M MONEY SMART" IN THIS PROGRAM AGES 6 TO ADULT WILL LEARN FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT FUNDED AND FACILITATED BY CHASE BANK. CLASSES WILL BE OFFERED BIWEEKLY VIA ZOOM. COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS ENERGY ASSISTANCE UP TO 250.00 TOWARDS INDIANA MICHIGAN POWER UTILITY BILLS. BILL MUST SHOW TERMINATION DATE. PROOF OF MONTHLY INCOME IS NEEDED AND A SINCERE PAYMENT OF AT LEAST 75.00 WITHIN THE LAST 90 DAYS. RENTAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE. APPLICANTS ARE LIMITED TO ONE APPLICATION PER YEAR.
