DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM - AHPR PROVIDES DEVELOPMENT SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMPLEXES.
YOUTHWORKS PROGRAM - AHPR PROVIDES STUDENTS FROM KINDERGARTEN THROUGH COLLEGE WITH HOMEWORK SUPPORT, JOB SKILLS TRAINING, HANDS-ON WORK EXPERIENCE, COLLEGE PLANNING, COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES, RECREATION, AND MENTORING. THE PROGRAM INCLUDES THE YOUTHWORKS FARM. TEENS WORKING IN THE FARM THROUGHOUT THE PANDEMIC GREW AND HARVESTED 1500 POUNDS OF FRESH PRODUCE THAT WENT TO FAMILIES THROUGHOUT NORTH PASO ROBLES FREE OF CHARGE.
RESIDENT SERVICES PROGRAM - AHPR PROVIDES TENANTS AND NEIGHBORS OF THE PASO ROBLES HOUSING AUTHORITY WITH A VARIETY OF SERVICES, INCLUDING TWICE MONTHLY FOOD DISTRIBUTIONS FROM THE SAN LUIS OBISPO FOOD BANK. OTHER EVENTS INCLUDED 3 MOBILE VACCINE CLINICS (SLO COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH), SUMMER SWIMMING LESSONS (IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PASO ROBLES PARKS & RECREATION), A WEEKEND MOBILE CONSULATE (WITH THE MEXICAN CONSULATE), TWICE WEEKLY ENGLISH CLASSES (TAUGHT BY CUESTA COLLEGE), MONTHLY CRAFT PROJECTS AND A SPRING BREAK CAMP FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN.
