THE TRUST USERS GROUP, INC. (TUG) PROVIDES EDUCATION, NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, VENDOR REFERRALS, AND CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS FOR THE MEMBERS OF THE FIDUCIARY WEALTH MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY. TUG PROVIDES A FORUM TO SHARE BEST PRACTICES, EXPERIENCE NEW TECHNOLOGY, LEARN FROM USERS OF SUPPORTING SYSTEMS, AND STAY CURRENT ON REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE CHANGES. THERE ARE A NUMBER OF VEHICLES THAT TUG PROVIDES THAT ADVANCE THESE PURPOSES WHICH INCLUDE:CONFERENCES THE PRIMARY VEHICLE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF INDIVIDUALS WITHIN THE FIDUCIARY WEALTH MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY IS THROUGH TUG CONFERENCES. THESE CONFERENCES ARE HELD IN THE SPRING AND FALL AND ARE AVAILABLE FOR BOTH MEMBERS AND NONMEMBERS OF TUG. THE CONFERENCES PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT TAX, LEGAL AND OTHER ISSUES THAT IMPACT THE INDUSTRY. IN ADDITION, THEY SERVE AS A MEANS FOR MEMBERS TO NETWORK, DEVELOP RELATIONSHIPS AND EXCHANGE IDEAS. DURING CALENDAR YEAR 2021, TUG HELD A SPRING AND FALL TRAINING CONFERENCE AND A NATIONAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE.NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES THE NETWORK OPPORTUNITIES PROVIDED BY TUG ADVANCES EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND REGULATORY UNDERSTANDING IN THE INDUSTRY IN ORDER TO EFFECTIVELY CARRY OUT FIDUCIARY ACTIONS CONSISTENT WITH APPLICABLE LAW.MONTHLY MEMBER CALLS THE MONTHLY MEMBER CALLS ARE TOUCH POINTS THAT ALLOW MEMBERS TO DISCUSS BEST PRACTICES, EXCHANGE INFORMATION REGARDING NEW AND AMENDED REGULATIONS, PROVIDE REFERRALS, AND NETWORK WITH VENDORS (INCLUDING TAX, PRICING, PROXY, ETC.), AND CONTRIBUTES TO MORE EFFECTIVE MEMBER OPERATIONS WITHIN THE FIDUCIARY WEALTH MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY.
