IN-SCHOOL SUPPORT PROGRAMS: THE LEADERSHIP SOCIETY OF ARIZONA (LSA) WORKS WITH 7 ARIZONA HIGH SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE IN-SCHOOL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COURSES AND ACADEMIC SUCCESS COACHING. IN EACH OF THESE PROGRAMS, LSA PARTNERED WITH SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION AND STAFF TO IDENTIFY STUDENTS WHO WERE STRUGGLING IN SCHOOL BUT HAD HIGH ATTENDANCE RATES. LSA FACILITATED LECTURES, DISCUSSIONS, TUTORING, AND ONE-ON-ONE SUCCESS COACHING. FUNDING FOR THESE PROGRAMS CAME DIRECTLY FROM SCHOOL AND DISTRICT SOURCES.
SUMMER PROGRAMS: THE LEADERSHIP SOCIETY OF ARIZONA (LSA) HOSTED 3 LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SUMMER COURSES FOR STUDENTS IN ARIZONA. IN THESE WEEK-LONG COURSES, STUDENTS LEARNED HOW TO APPLY LSA'S LEADERSHIP METHODOLOGY TO THEIR PERSONAL LIVES TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS MORE EFFECTIVELY. STUDENTS AND PARENTS PAID LSA DIRECTLY TO FUND THESE PROGRAMS. CHARITABLE DONATIONS TO LSA WERE ALSO USED TO SUPPORT THE PROGRAMS. THE FUNDING WAS USED TO PURCHASE MATERIALS, FUND MARKETING EFFORTS, AND COMPENSATE INSTRUCTIONAL CONTRACTORS.
WORKSHOPS: THE LEADERSHIP SOCIETY OF ARIZONA (LSA) FACILITATED 7 WORKSHOPS FOR ATTENDEES. THE WORKSHOPS WERE HOSTED AT VARIOUS COMPANY FACILITIES THROUGHOUT THE PHOENIX VALLEY. WORKSHOPS WERE OPENED TO PARENTS, HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, COLLEGE STUDENTS, AND LOCAL PROFESSIONALS. ATTENDEES LEARNED ABOUT DIFFERENT HABITS THAT MANY SUCCESSFUL LEADERS ADOPT EARLY IN THEIR CAREERS. ATTENDEES WERE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO NETWORK AND DISCUSS THESE IDEAS THROUGH THEIR VARIOUS BACKGROUNDS AND FIELDS OF INTEREST. ATTENDEES WERE ASKED TO PAY A REGISTRATION FEE.
