TO PROVIDE A HAVEN AND TREATMENT FOR ADOPTABLE CATS AND DOGS, PLACE THEM IN SUITABLE HOMES, INCREASE AWARENESS OF THE HUMANE TREATMENT OF ANIMALS AND PROMOTE SPAY/NUETER PROGRAMS TO REDUCE THE OVERPOPULATION OF CATS AND DOGS.

ADOPTION OF ANIMALS: TO PROVIDE SHELTER, VETERINAY CARE, FOOD AND NECESSITIES FOR ABONDONED CATS AND DOGS UNTIL ADOPTED INTO A PERMANENT HOME. FOR 2021, THERE WERE 103 DOGS AND 73 CATS PLACED INTO A PERMANENT HOME.
LOW COST SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAM TO REDUCE THE OVERPOPULATION OF CATS AND DOGS IN JO DAVIESS COUNTY. OWNER PROVIDES A SMALL CO-PAY AND SAFE HAVEN PAYS THE BALANCE OF THE VETERINARIAN COSTS OF THE SPAY/NEUTER SURGERY. FOR 2021, THERE WERE 52 DOGS AND 98 CATS TREATED UNDER THE PROGRAM.
WE BELIEVE PEOPLE NEED TO KEEP THEIR PETS AND THEMSELVES HEALTHY. PROPER FOOD IS AN IMPORTANT MEANS TO THAT END. THE REALITY OF TODAY IS THAT MANY PEOPLE FIND THEMSELVES IN CIRCUMSTANCES WHERE FOOD BANKS ARE AN IMPORTANT SOURCE OF NUTRITION AND EACH YEAR THAT NEED GROWS. WE ARE PROVIDING PET FOOD TO THREE LOCAL AREA FOOD BANKS LOCATED IN JO DAVIESS COUNTY.
