THE WOMAN'S BOARD OF NORTHWESTERN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL RAISES FUNDS IN SUPPORT OF THE HOSPITAL DEPARTMENTS IN FURTHERANCE OF RESEARCH, EDUCATION AND EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICES. THE WOMAN'S BOARD MADE GRANTS TO THE NORTHWESTERN MEDICINE DEVELOPMENTAL THERAPEUTICS INSTITUTE WHICH PROMOTES MULTIDISCIPLINARY EFFORTS TO DEVELOP NEW CANCER MEDICATIONS AND OTHER INNOVATIVE THERAPIES; FOR THE ELEANOR WOOD-PRINCE GRANTS INITIATIVES; THE EVERGREEN INVITATIONAL WOMEN'S HEALTH GRANTS INITIATIVES; THE COMPASSIONATE CARE AWARDS; THE WOMEN'S PROGRAMS OF THE HIV CENTER AT THE HOSPITAL; AND OTHER DISCRETIONARY RESEARCH OR PATIENT CARE ORIENTED EFFORTS.
