TO SOLICIT AND INVEST CONTRIBUTIONS, GIFTS AND BEQUESTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF ASCENSION ST. JOHN HOSPITAL. THIS FUNDING IS USED TO PROVIDE DELIVERY OF PATIENT SERVICES, CARE TO THE ELDERLY AND INDIGENT, AND HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAMS. DURING FY 2021, THE FOUNDATON WAS ABLE TO FUND THE FOLLOWING: PEDIATRIC SERVICES EXPANSION AND RENOVATION; CENTER FOR INFECTIOUS DISEASE REASEARCH; CARDIOLOGY - OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY; MOBILE HEALTH CENTER HEART SCREENINGS FOR FIRST RESPONDERS; ASSOCIATE HARDSHIP FUND; BREAST CARE SERVICES FUNDING FOR PATIENTS IN NEED; SCHOLARSHIPS & EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT FOR MEDICAL STUDENTS & RESIDENTS.
