Part 3 - Line 4a

DURING FISCAL YEAR 2022, WE CONTINUED TO MAKE OUR WAY OUT OF THE COVID PANDEMIC,BUT SOMEWHAT RETURNED TO NORMAL. WE OPERATED MOST ACTIVITIES VIRTUALLY, AND CONTINUED TO HOLD LISTENING SESSIONS THAT BROUGHT TOGETHER NEIGHBORHOOD THOUGHT LEADERS, KEY ORGANIZATIONS AND JOURNALISTS, AND TACKLED TOPICS SUCH AS DIVERSITY AND INEQUALITY. WE TAUGHT BEST PRACTICES IN JOURNALISM AND PROVIDED RESOURCES THAT HELP WITH THE DIFFICULT TASK OF REPORTING. WE PARTNERED WITH NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY ON SEVERAL INITIATIVES, AS WELL AS WITH THE CHICAGO INDEPENDENT MEDIA ALLIANCE,AND OTHER COMMUNITY GROUPS.
