COMPUTER NUMERICAL CONTROL (CNC) FAST TRACK - THE CNC FAST TRACK PROGRAM OFFERS 500 HOURS (OVER 20 WEEKS) OF HANDS-ON CNC MACHINE TRAINING. THE CURRICULUM PREPARES STUDENTS FOR ENTRY-LEVEL CNC OPERATOR POSITIONS BUT ALSO TRAINS STUDENTS IN SKILL SETS THAT ALLOW THEM TO ADVANCE UP THE CAREER LADDER INTO POSITIONS SUCH AS CNC SET-UP, PROGRAMMING AND QUALITY CONTROL.
WELDING FAST TRACK- THE WELDING FAST TRACK PROGRAM OFFERS 500 HOURS (20 WEEKS) OF HANDS-ON TRAINING, FOCUSED ON GAS METAL ARC WELDING (GMAW OR MIG) IN CHICAGO AND SHIELDED ARC WELDING (SMAW OR STICK) IN BALTIMORE. TRAINEES ARE ALSO ABLE TO DEVELOP SOME BASIC SKILLS IN TUNGSTEN INERT GAS (TIG) WELDING AND ROBOTIC WELDING. EXPOSURE TO OTHER TYPES OF WELDING MAKES TRAINEES MORE ATTRACTIVE TO EMPLOYERS AND SUPPORTS THEIR CAREER ADVANCEMENT.
