THE EDGEWATER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE'S MISSION IS TO CREATE AND SUPPORT A THRIVING BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT, CONTRIBUTING TO A VIBRANT EDGEWATER COMMUNITY. WE PRESENT MARKETING, NETWORKING, EDUCATION, AND ONE-ON-ONE ASSISTANCE TO BUSINESSES.

MARKETING & PROMOTION. THE EDGEWATER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ACTIVELY WORKS TO PROMOTE LOCAL EDGWATER BUSINESSES AND CHAMBER MEMBERS THROUGH PROMOTIONAL EVENTS, COMMUNITY EVENTS, AN ONLINE BUSINESS DIRECTORY, EMAIL BLASTS, REFERRALS, AND OTHER INITIATIVES. WE ORGANIZE NUMEROUS COMMUNITY EVENTS AIMED AT PROMOTING LOCAL BUSINESSES AND ENCOURAGING RESIDENTS TO SHOP LOCALLY.
DIRECT ASSISTANCE. THE EDGEWATER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE PROVIDES DIRECT, ONE-ON-ONE ASSISTANCE AND COUNSELING TO LOCAL BUSINESSES. THIS ASSISTANCE OFTEN TAKES THE FORM OF PROVIDING MARKETING IDEAS FOR THEIR BUSINESSES, PROVIDING INSIGHTS AND INFORMATION ON THE NEIGHBORHOOD, AND/OR PROVIDING ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE NAVIGATING THE CITY OF CHICAGO'S PERMITTING AND LICENSING.
EDUCATION & NETWORKING. THE EDGEWATER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE PRESENTS BUSINESS EDUCATION WORKSHOPS CALLED CHAMBER CONNECTIONS AND NETWORKING EVENTS SUCH AS THE ANNUAL LUNCHEON AND AWARDS CEREMONY.
