GENERAL OPERATING OF A VFW POST. MEMBERS PAY DUES TO NATIONAL. NATIONAL THEN REBATES BACK TO POST A PORTION OF THE DUES. MONTHLY MEETING HELD. POST SPONSORS PROGRAMS OF VFW AMERICANISM WHICH INCLUDES HONORING THOSE FLYING AMERICAN FLAGS, PLACING AMERICAN FLAGS ON GRAVE SITES DURING MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, AND MARCHING IN LOCAL PARADES CARRYING THE AMERICAN FLAG. ALSO, ATTEND VETERANS WAKES PRESENTING AMERICAN FLAG.
VISIT TO VETERANS IN VETERANS HOSPITALS AND VETERANS HOMES. FOUR TO EIGHT DIFFERENT POST MEMBERS DEDICATE TIME TO VISIT VETERANS WHO ARE CONFINED TO VETERANS HOSPITALS OR VETERANS HOMES.
