CANDOR HEALTH EDUCATION IS THE LARGEST PROVIDER OF HEALTH EDUCATION FOR SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN IN ILLINOIS. WE PARTNER WITH OVER 600 SCHOOLS ACROSS TEN COUNTIES IN NORTHERN ILLINOIS SERVING NEARLY 80,000 4TH- 8TH GRADERS EACH YEAR. ORIGINALLY FOUNDED AS THE HINSDALE HEALTH MUSEUM IN 1958, THE ORGANIZATION WAS RENAMED THE ROBERT CROWN CENTER FOR HEALTH EDUCATION IN 1974. IN 2020, THE ORGANIZATION REBRANDED AS CANDOR HEALTH EDUCATION. OUR LONG TRADITION OF INNOVATIVE PROGRAMMING CONTINUES BY COMBINING IN-PERSON EDUCATOR LED PROGRAMS WITH SELF-PACED ONLINE LEARNING. WE DELIVER OUR INTERACTIVE PROGRAMS BOTH LIVE AND VIRTUALLY AND INCORPORATE TECHNOLOGY AND SOCIAL EMOTIONAL SKILL BUILDING INTO ALL WE DO.
