SUPPORT VETERANS (AND THEIR FAMILIES) IN NEED, IN HOSPITALS, IN SPECIAL CARE FACILITIES AND IN THE COMMUNITY. PROVIDE SPACE AND SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO GATHER AND ENJOY EACH OTHER'S COMPANY. PROMOTE A SENSE OF PATRIOTISM IN AREA SCHOOLS AND IN THE COMMUNITY.

HINES VA MEDICAL CENTER CONTINUED TO EXPERIENCE COVD OUTBREAKS AND REGULAR VISITS TO THE TWO SPINAL WARDS AND THE BLIND UNIT WERE LIMITED. WE WERE ABLE CONDUCT OUR WEEKLY VISITS TO SENIOR LIVING FACILITIES AND CONTINUED OUR YOUTH PROGRAMS AT THE JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL LEVELS. OUR COLOR GUARD AND HONOR GUARD UNITS WERE VERY BUSY WITH A GROWING NUMBER OF COMMUNITY EVENTS AND MEMORIAL SERVICES. OUR TOTAL DONATIONS TO VETERAN AND COMMUNITY CAUSES EXCEEDED $60,000.
