IN 2023, THE VICTOR CRUZ FOUNDATION PARTNERED WITH JP MORGAN CHASE TO LAUNCH A FINANCIAL LITERACY COURSE AT THE STEAM HIGH SCHOOL IN PATERSON, NJ. THE CURRICULUM IS DERIVED FROM J.P. MORGAN'S INVESTING 101 CONTENT, AS WELL AS COVERING PLANNING FUNDAMENTALS, BUDGETING, AND INVESTING BUILDING B BLOCKS. THE BI-WEEKY SESSION IS LED BY LOCAL J.P. MORGAN TEAM MEMBERS, SPANS OVER4 MONTHS IN THE SPRING AND FALL, AND HAS SERVED OVER 100 JUNIORS AND SENIORS. SEPARATELY, A SMALL GROUP OF PROMISING STUDENTS FROM THE HIGH SCHOOL RECEIVED AN EXCLUSIVE LOOK INTO NEWS 12'S NEWSROOMS WHERE THEY RECEIVED INSIGHT FROM THE PRODUCERS AND ENGINEERS. THEY ALSO MET WITH NEWS ANCHORS WHO EDUCATED THEM ON THE EQUIPMENTS AND NEWS ROLL OUTS.THE VICTOR CRUZ FOUNDATION ADDITIONALLY CONTINUED ITS ANNUAL HOLIDAY GIVE BACK EFFORTS, DONATING A FINANCIAL AND LARGE COAT DONATION TO EVA'S VILLAGE AND A SHOPPING SPREE FOR 25 PATERSON YOUTH AT FOOT LOCKER'S NYC FLAGSHIP STORE.
