BELIEVERS UNITED FOR PROGRESS' MISSION IS TO FACILITATE THE RECONSTRUCTION OF A SELF-SUFFICIENT COMMUNITY. OUR TOOLS ARE RESPECT, LOVE AND FAITH IN ALL HUMANITY. THE GOAL OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO USE SOCIAL INTERACTION, FOOD/MEAL ACCESSIBILITY AND ENGAGEMENT FOR THE PROGRESS OF ALL PEOPLE.

COMMUNITY KITCHEN - THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES NUTRITIOUS MEALS AS WELL AS DISTRIBUTES FOOD BOXES TO FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS WHO LIVE ON THE STREET, IN SHELTERS, AND/OR ARE UNDER-EMPLOYED. ADDITIONALLY, IN 2022, AS PART OF THE COMMUNITY KITCHEN, BUFP ALSO DELIVERED MEALS TO SENIORS IN LOW-INCOME HOUSING COMPLEXES, TO AN AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM IN A HOUSING COMPLEX, AND TO INDIVIDUALS LIVING ON THE STREET. A TOTAL OF 18,173 HOT MEALS WERE PROVIDED (ONSITE AND DELIVERED); ALMOST 4,300 FOOD BOXES THAT PROVIDED MEALS TO HOUSEHOLDS WITH MORE THAN 13,100 MEMBERS WERE DISTRIBUTED.
