PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR VETERANS THRU VARIOUS PROGRAMS, INCLUDING CEREMONIES, ASSISTING VETERANS, PROMOTING AMERICANISM, ETC.. SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY THRU OPERATING A GOLF COURSE & CONTRIBUTING TO COMMUNITY PROJECTIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS.

PART OF THE AMERICAN LEGION'S MISSION IS TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY; WE PROVIDE A PUBLIC GOLF COURSE FOR AREA RESIDENTS, AS PART OF ITS LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF KOKOMO. THE COST IS LESS THAN OTHER AREA MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSES IN THE REGION. AS PART OF ITS COMMITMENT TO THE COMMUNITY THE COURSE PROVIDES FREE AND REDUCED MEMBERSHIPS TO JUNIORS, SENIORS, AND GOVERMENT EMPLOYEES.


THE POST CONDUCTS VARIOUS ACTIVITIES "TO FOSTER AND PERPETUATE A 100 PERCENT AMERICANISM'. MANY OF THESE ACTIVITIES ARE FOCUSED ON VETERANS AND CURRENT MILITARY. THEY PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THE MARION VA, CONDUCT CERMONIES HONORING OUR VETERANS, SUPPORT PROGRAMS ASSISTING DISABLE & IN NEED VETERANS, AND OTHER SIMILAR ENDEAVORS. THEY PROVIDE FINANICAL SUPPORT TO THE AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL PROGRAM. THEY HELP SUPPORT LOCAL YOUTH BY CONDUCTING EVENTS FOCUSED ON THE HOLIDAYS, IN PARTICULAR GIFTS TO NEEDY CHILDREN DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON & A CONTEST PROMOTING AMERICANISM AT LOCAL SCHOOLS.
