THE STRANAHAN THEATER TRUST WAS ESTABLISHED AS A NON-PROFIT IN 1969 AND HAS OPERATED CONTINUOUSLY SINCE THEN. OPERATING AS THE STRANAHAN THEATER AND GREAT HALL, IT HAS BEEN USED AS A PREMIER NON-PROFIT VENUE BY CITIZENS THROUGHOUT NORTHWEST OHIO AND SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN. WITH A CAPACITY OF NEARLY 2,400 SEATS, THE STRANAHAN IS THE LARGEST PROSCENIUM STAGE THEATER IN NORTHWEST OHIO. THE STRANAHAN THEATER AND GREAT HALL IS HOST TO LOCAL DANCE RECITALS, GRADUATIONS, ORCHESTRAS, OTHER LOCAL NON-PROFITS, WEDDINGS, DANCE COMPETITIONS, AS WELL AS NATIONAL ACTS AND BROADWAY. WITH ITS WIDE VARIETY OF PROGRAMMING, WE ARE ABLE TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE PATRONS WE SERVE.
