PROVIDE FINANCIAL AND OTHER ASSISTANCE TO SURVIVORS OF POLICE, FIRE, AND EMS PERSONNEL WHO HAVE BEEN KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY. WE ASSISTED 542 SURVIVORS IN SOME CAPACITY AND PROVIDED DIRECT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO 230.
CONDUCT TRAINING TO BETTER PREPARE POLICE, FIRE AND EMS LEADERS, CHAPLAINS, AND SUPPORT PERSONNEL TO PROPERLY RESPOND TO LINE-OF-DUTY DEATH AND UNDERSTAND FEDERAL LINE-OF-DUTY DEATH BENEFITS. THERE WERE 106 PARTICIPANTS.
