WE WANT TO STOMP OUT HUNGER IN OUR COMMUNITY. PONTIFEX ACCOMPLISHES ITS MISSION BY HAVING A WEEKLY FOOD PANTRY ALONG WITH MULTIPLE SOUP KITCHENS PER WEEK. IF ANYONE COMES INTO PONTIFEX AND IS HUNGRY, WE FEED THEM A WARM MEAL AND/OR PACK THEM A BOX WITH NONPERISHABLE ITEMS. PONTIFEX PROVIDES SHOWERS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO MEANS OF PERSONAL HYGIENE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. PONTIFEX ALSO OFFERS A SAFE PLACE WHEN WEATHER MAY BECOME TOO DETRIMENTAL TO THEIR HEALTH, SUCH AS A WARMING CENTER DURING THE EXTREMELY COLD WEATHER AND A COOLING CENTER DURING THE EXTREMELY HOT WEATHER.
