FAMILY SERVICES - TARGETS PREGNANT WOMEN AND FAMILIES WITH INFANTS AND TODDLERS, PROVIDING THEM WITH A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL, COUNSELING AND CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES USING A MULTI-DISCIPLINARY HOME VISITING MODEL OF INTERVENTION.


COMMUNITY SERVICE - PERFORMED THROUGH THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE NATIONAL HEALTH CORPS AND THE PHILADELPHIA HEALTH CORPS SITE, WHICH ENGAGES AMERICORPS MEMBERS IN ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE CHILD HEALTH AND OTHER DISEASE PREVENTION GOALS AND THE ETHIC OF COMMUNITY SERVICE.


TRAINING - PROVIDED TO PRIVATE AND PUBLIC AGENCIES TO SUPPORT ONGOING STAFF BUILDING, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENT. THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON A GRANT OR CONTRACTUAL BASIS AND INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, CONTINUINNG MEDICAL EDUCATION, TRAINING FOR MEDICAL INTERPRETERS, CAPACITY BUILDING FOR CHILD SERVING SYSTEMS, AND SPECIFIC SKILL TRAINING FOR COMMUNITY PROVIDERS TO SUPPORT SERVICE EXPANSION AND/OR WORKFORCE COMPETENCIES.


CONSULTING/OTHER - SERVICES ARE OFFERED TO PUBLIC AND PRIVATE AGENCIES ON A CONTRACTUAL BASIS AND INCLUDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, FISCAL INTERMEDIARY SERVICES, EVALUATION AND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT.
