OMNI PROVIDES HUMANITARIAN AID TO VULNERABLE AND ORPHANED CHILDREN AND THEIR SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. AID IS PROVIDED THROUGH EDUCATION, MEDICAL CARE AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.

OMNI COMPLETED ITS 22ND YEAR IN ZAMBIA, AFRICA WITH THE EDUCATION OF OVER 350 CHILDREN AT OUR SCHOOL IN GRADES 1 THROUGH 9. EACH CHILD WAS PROVIDED WITH A UNIFORM, SHOES, BACK PACK, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, AND CHEMICALLY TREATED ANTI-MALARIA NETS FOR SLEEPING. THE SCHOOL CHILDREN AND STAFF WERE FED DAILY AND RECEIVE CLEAN DRINKING WATER. THE SCHOOL CONTINUED THE COVID PROTOCOLS FOR SAFETY. PERSONAL PROTECTION MASKS, HAND SANITIZERS, AND SPECIAL DISTANCING WERE IN PLACE AT THE SCHOOL AS COVID SPIKED AT TIMES IN ZAMBIA IN 2022. OMNI SCHOOL IS A NATIONAL TEST CENTER FOR ZAMBIA, WITH ACCREDITATION FROM THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION IN ZAMBIA FOR ANNUAL TEST TAKING. THIRTY-SIX 7TH GRADERS GRADUATED IN NOVEMBER, AND 100% PASSED THEIR GOVERNMENT TESTS. THERE WAS AN 80% PASSING RATE IN GRADE 9. LOWER 9TH GRADE STATISTICS ARE LIKELY DUE TO STUDENTS COMING IN FROM OTHER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND NOT ATTENDING OMNI THROUGHOUT THE LOWER GRADES. THE HIGHEST PERFORMANCE MARK EVER FOR THE SCHOOL WAS ACHIEVED BY A STUDENT AT THE 9TH GRADE LEVEL. FORTY-FOUR NEW FIRST GRADERS WERE ENROLLED THIS YEAR, OUR LARGEST CLASS EVER, DESPITE SO MANY MORE CHILDREN APPLYING FOR POSITIONS. THE SCHOOL IN ZAMBIA IS STAFFED WITH 29 ZAMBIAN NATIONAL TEACHERS AND SUPPORT STAFF PAID BY OMNI. OMNI CONTINUES TO SUPPORT THE CHILDREN AT THE SCHOOL AND VILLAGERS OF THE TOWN OF GEORGE, ZAMBIA WITH FRESH EGGS, LAYING HENS, AND PRODUCE. OVER 30 FAMILIES IN THE AREA ARE INCLUDED IN A REGULAR FEEDING SUPPORT PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES SUSTAINING FOOD ON A MONTHLY BASIS. OMNI ALSO ALLOWS THE COMMUNITY TO USE ITS GRINDING MILL AND PROVIDES WATER FROM ONE OF ITS BORE HOLES FOR VILLAGERS TO FILL THEIR CONTAINERS FOR PERSONAL USE.
