THIS FULL RANGE OF COMPREHENSIVE HOME HEALTHCARE SERVICES IS TAILORED TO THE INDIVIDUAL PATIENT'S NEEDS. SKILLED HOME CARE CLINICIANS, IN COLLABORATION WITH PHYSICIANS, OFFER SERVICES SUCH AS PROFESSIONAL NURSING, INFUSION THERAPY, INTERMITTENT CARE, MEDICAL SOCIAL SERVICES, HOME HEALTH AIDES, AND SPEECH THERAPIES. SERVICES ARE OFFERED BY PROFESSIONALS FOR THE PERSON FACING DEATH, AS WELL AS FOR THAT PERSON'S FAMILY AND FRIENDS. HOSPICE CARE CONSIDERS ALL ASPECTS OF THE PERSON, THE FAMILY, AND/OR THE LOVED ONE'S EXPERIENCE. THIS CARE MAY BE OFFERED IN A PATIENT'S HOME, IN A LONG-TERM CARE FACILITY, OR IN THE EBEID HOSPICE RESIDENCE ON THE CAMPUS OF FLOWER HOSPITAL IN SYLVANIA, OHIO. IN 2022, VNHHC PROVIDED XX,XXX DAYS OF HOSPICE CARE. VNHHC CONTRIBUTED $880,132 IN COMMUNITY BENEFIT IN 2022, ALL OF WHICH WAS ATTRIBUTED TO THE COSTSNOT REIMBURSED BY THE GOVERNMENTFOR TREATING MEDICAID PATIENTS. VNHHC'S COST OF BAD DEBT FOR 2022 WAS $5,907. THIS AMOUNT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE COMMUNITY BENEFIT AMOUNT OF $880,132 NOTED ABOVE.DURING 2022, VNHHC EXPENDED $4,646,903 IN NET PAYROLL, PROVIDING 145 JOBS IN SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN. A TOTAL OF $328,712 WAS WITHHELD IN EMPLOYEE STATE AND LOCAL TAXES.IN SUMMARY, VNHHC DEMONSTRATES PROMEDICA'S MISSION AND CORE VALUES BY PROVIDING HIGH-QUALITY HEALTH CARE TO ALL PATIENTS, REGARDLESS OF THEIR RACE, CREED, SEX, NATIONAL ORIGIN, DISABILITY, OR AGE.
