SALEM PRESERVATION'S MISSION IS TO PRESERVE ARCHITECTURALLY AND HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT SITES, OBJECTS AND LANDSCAPES IN THE SALEM AREA, AND TO PROMOTE EDUCATIONAL, ARTISTIC AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES THAT WILL INCREASE COMMUNITY AWARENESS OF THE IMPORTANCE OF THE PRESERVATION OF SALEM'S HERITAGE.THE ORGANIZATION IN 2022 RAISED FUNDS TO PROVIDE $117,538 TO THE MCCULLOCH PARK RENOVATION AND $743 FOR MEMORIAL SIDEWALK BRICKS, BOTH OF WHICH ARE LOCATED IN SALEM, OHIO'S HISTORIC CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDED $100 TO THE SALEM SCHOOLS STADIUM RENOVATION PROJECT.
