EL BARRIO CONNECTED OVER 1,000 DIVERSE INDIVIDUALS WITH CHALLENGES TO EMPLOYMENT WHO WANT TO ENTER THE WORKFORCE, CHANGE THEIR CAREER PATH OR CONNECT TO HIGHER WAGE OPPORTUNITIES. EL BARRIO CONNECTS EACH INDIVIDUAL WITH SUPPORTIVE SERVICE, JOB TRAINING AND LOCAL HIRING EMPLOYERS WITH THE GOAL OF LONG TERM FAMILY-SUSTAINING WAGES.
