THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES GRANT FUNDING FOR SEVERAL CONTINUM OF CARE PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE HOUSING AND SUPPORT SERVICES FOR HOMELESS PERSONS. SOME OF THESE PROGRAMS SERVE INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WHO ARE CONSIDERED DISABLED AND CHRONICALLY HOMELESS. THESE CONSUMERS ARE ASSISTED WITH DEVELOPING INDIVIDUALIZED GOALS AND ENSURE THE NECESSARY SUPPORT TO SUCCESSFULLY MAINTAIN HOUSING LONG TERM. OTHER PROGRAMS PROVIDE SHORT AND MEDIUM TERM RENTAL ASSISTANCE TO HOMELESS HOUSEHOLDS WITH CHILDREN AND/OR WHO HAVE BEEN VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE WHO ARE RESIDING IN SHELTERS OR LIVING ON THE STREETS. THESE PROGRAMS ALLOW FOR A VARIETY OF HOUSING CHOICES PROVIDED IN CONJUNCTION WITH A RANGE OF SUPPORTIVE SERVICES.
THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES GRANT FUNDING FOR SEVERAL VETERAN PROGRAMS WHICH PROVIDE HOUSING AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO ELIGIBLE HOMELESS VETERANS. THE HOMELESS VETERANS PER DIEM PROGRAM AND THE HEALTH CARE FOR HOMELESS VETERANS PROVIDES SUPPORTIVE SERVICES AND HOUSING TO ELIGIBLE HOMELESS VETERANS. THE SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR VETERAN FAMILIES PROGRAM PROVIDES SUPPORTIVE SERVICES AND HOUSING TO VERY LOW INCOME VETERAN FAMILIES WHO ARE EITHER RESIDING IN PERMANENT HOUSING, OR ARE HOMELESS AND SCHEDULED TO BECOME RESIDENTS OF PERMANENT HOUSING.
RENTAL PROGRAM - COMMUNITY REBUILDERS PROVIDES AFFORDABLE RENTAL UNITS AT RATES BELOW FAIR MARKET VALUE TO LOW INCOME HOUSEHOLDS. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES TO REBUILD THEIR RENTAL HISTORIES AND SECURE RENTAL HOUSING DESPITE POVERTY, PAST EVICTIONS, AND POOR CREDIT.
