MDCA'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY DAY CARE SERVICES TO RESIDENTS OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY. MOST CHILDREN SERVED RESIDE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO MDCA OFFICES AND MOST RESIDENTS ARE OF LOW INCOME.

COUNTY VOUCHER PROGRAM-CCDES. THIS PROGRAM IS FUNDED THROUGH THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF JOBS & FAMILY SERVICES- ODJFS. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES SERVICES TO ELIGIBLE TODDLER AND PRESCHOOL CHILDREN WHEN THE CHILD'S FAMILY IS ENROLLED IN THE VOUCHER PROGRAM. CHILDREN SERVED ARE AGED 0-5 AND RECEIVE DAY CARE SERVICES AT MDCA. THIS PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDES AFTER SCHOOL SERVICES TO CHILDREN ENROLLED IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
PAYROLL PROTECTION PROGRAM- PPP FORGIVABLE LOAN PROGRAM. THIS PROGRAM WAS FUNDED BY THE SMALL BUSINESS ADNMISTRATION SBA AND WAS DESIGNED TO ASSIST AGENCIES IN MAINTAINING TIS WORK FORCE DURING THE COVID # 19 PANDEMIC CRISIS. THE LOAN BECAME A GRANT PROGRAM WHEN FORGIVEN BY THE SBA. ALL MDCA EXPENSES INCURRED UNDER THIS PROGRAM WERE FOR SALARIES OF EMPLOYEES WHO WERE RETAINED BY MDCA AS A RESULT OF THIS FORGIVABLE LOAN.
OHIO CHILD CARE RESOURCE & REFERRAL GRANT OCCRR PROGRAMS. THIS PROGRAM WAS FUNDED BY BY THE STATE OF OHIO AS ONE TIME GRANT PROGRAM FUNDS BECAUSE OF THE COVID & 19 PANDEMIC CRISIS. FUNDS WERE USED EXCLUSIVELY FOR SALARIES OF MDCA EMPLOYEES WHO WERE RETAINED THROUGH THE COVID # 19 PANDEMIC CRISIS.
