VALLEY SAVE-A-PET IS A NON-PROFIT HUMANE SOCIETY ESTABLISHED TO ALLEVIATE THE UNNECESSARY SUFFERING OF ALL ANIMALS.VSAP SHALL SUBSCRIBE TO THE PRINCIPAL THAT EUTHANASIA WILL NOT BE PRACTICED UNLESS IT IS MEDICALLY INDICATED.- VSAP IS A STRICTLY VOLUNTARY ORGANIZATION- 100% OF THE MONEY DONATED TO VSAP GOES TO HELP THE ANIMALS.

ANIMAL RESCUE & ADOPTION: VALLEY SAVE-A-PET HELPS REHABILITATE ABANDONED DOGS AND CATS AND PLACES THEM IN SUITABLE, LOVING HOMES. CATS AND KITTENS ARE NURTURED IN LOVING AND CARING FOSTER HOMES OR A PRIVATE BOARDING HOME UNTIL ADOPTION.


PROGRAMS AND HUMANE EDUCATION INCLUDING GROUP PROGRAMS, AND TELEPHONE ASSISTANCE TO PEOPLE NEEDING ASSISTANCE IN CARING FOR THEIR ANIMALS.


SPAY & NEUTER ASSISTANCE & TNR FERAL CAT: VALLEY SAVE-A-PET'S SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAM WILL CONTINUE TO OFFER CAT AND DOG SPAY/NEUTER AT A DISCOUNTED RATE FOR PET OWNERS WHO OTHERWISE CANNOT AFFORD THE COST. MODEST ADDITIONAL CHARGES ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL ANIMALS NOT CURRENT ON VACCINATION AND FOR LARGER DOGS WHOSE WEIGHT MIGHT REQUIRE SPECIAL ANESTHESIA. WE WILL HAVE ABOUT 12 VETERINARIANS PARTICIPATING IN OUR PROGRAM THIS YEAR. FOR VALLEY SAVE-A-PET'S TNR FERAL CAT PROGRAM, CATS IN SELECTED WILD COLONIES ARE TRAPPED, SPAYED, OR NEUTERED AND RETURNED TO THEIR COLONIES. THE COLONIES WILL BE SELF-REDUCING OVER TIME.


VETERINARY CARE & EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE: FINANCIAL HELP IS PROVIDED TO OWNERS WHO CANNOT AFFORD THE COST OF EMERGENCY VETERINARY CARE FOR THEIR PETS.
