THE CHILDREN'S CLOSET CONSISTS OF FOUR PROGRAMS: COATS, SCHOOL UNIFORMS (ALONG WITH SOCKS AND UNDERWEAR), BEDS AND PORTABLE CRIBS. THE CONDITION OF EVERYTHING DONATED IS NEW. IT IS THE INTENT OF THE CHILDREN'S CLOSET TO PRESERVE THE INTEGRITY OF THE FAMILY UNIT.
LAYETTES ARE ASSEMBLED BY MEMBERS AND DISTRIBUTED TO VARIOUS AGENCIES AND CENTERS. LAYETTES ARE BUNDLES OF CLOTHING, BLANKETS, TOWELS, AND OTHER NECESSITIES FOR NEWBORNS.
"MY STUFF" BAGS PROVIDE PERSONAL ITEMS FOR CHILDREN RESIDING ON SHELTERS, TRANSITIONAL HOUSING, OR CRISIS CENTERS. AT THIS VERY STRESSFUL TIME FOR PARENTS AND THEIR CHILDREN, THE GOAL IS TO PROVIDE CLOTHES, HYGIENE ITEMS AND SUPPLIES TO CHILDREN WHO OTHERWISE HAVE NOTHING TO CALL THEIR OWN.
