VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS OF OHIO CHARITIES WAS FORMED TO PROMOTE AND FUND CHARITABLE AND BENEVOLENT INSTITUTIONS BY ESTABLISHING GRANT OPPORTUNITIES FOR ORGANIZATIONS THAT ADVANCE THE WELFARE OF NEEDY AND DISABLED VETERANS, WIDOWS, OR ORPHANS OF DECEASED VETERANS.

THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS OF OHIO CHARITIES (VFWOC) PERFORMS A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT FUNCTIONS AND PROGRAMS. VFWOC PROMOTES AND FUNDS CHARITABLE AND BENEVOLENT INSTITUTIONS BY ESTABLISHING GRANT OPPORTUNITIES. VFWOC ALSO RUNS DIFFERENT COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES, YOUTH ACTIVITIES, COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAMS, VETERANS BURIAL DETAIL, SCHOLARSHIPS, AND VETERANS/FAMILY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS IN ADDITION TO A VARIETY OF OTHER PROGRAMS.
