CAMPHILL FOUNDATION (THE "FOUNDATION") WAS FORMED TO GROW, STRENGTHEN, AND SAFEGUARD THE CAMPHILL MOVEMENT IN NORTH AMERICA THROUGH STRATEGIC GRANTS AND PROGRAMMATIC INITIATIVES THAT ENSURE LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY AND FLOURISHING OF CAMPHILL COMMUNITIES. CAMPHILL IS A WORLDWIDE MOVEMENT OF VIBRANT LIFE SHARING COMMUNITIES WHERE PEOPLE WITH AND WITHOUT INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES STRIVE TOGETHER TO REACH FULL POTENTIALS. A MAJORITY OF THE FOUNDATION'S PROGRAMMATIC REVENUE IS DERIVED FROM CONTRIBUTIONS.

NEXT GENERATION LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE: SUPPORTS THE FOUNDATION'S BOARD FELLOWS PROGRAM, AS WELL AS TRAVEL FELLOWSHIPS FOR YOUNG COWORKERS TO ATTEND CONFERENCES.RESEARCH INITIATIVE:SUPPORTS THE ANNUAL CAMPHILL RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM, AND TRAVEL FELLOWSHIPS FOR RESEARCH, ADVOCACY, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.CASH GRANTS: GRANTS ARE AWARDED TO CAMPHILL COMMUNITIES WITHIN NORTH AMERICA AND A FEW INTERNATIONAL AREAS THAT ARE ECONOMICALLY-CHALLENGED FOR THE PURPOSES OF: CAPITAL PROJECTS, COWORKER DEVELOPMENT, CAPACITY-BUILDING, AND GENERAL SUPPORT. GRANTS ARE AWARDED TO REGIONAL ENTITIES: CAMPHILL ACADEMY AND CAMPHILL ASSOCIATION. GRANTS ARE AWARDED TO COMMUNITIES FOR THE COLLEGE LOAN SUPPORT PROGRAM.
