THE GOAL OF THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY IS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON THE MERITS OF AGRIBUSINESS AND TO ENCOURAGE PARTICIPANTS AND GUESTS TO UNDERSTAND HOW FOOD GROWS FROM SEED TO TABLE. THE EDUCATIONAL ASPECTS INCLUDE THE SHOWING AND COMPETITION OF ANIMALS PROMPTING DISCOVERY OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF WORK DONE BY ANIMALS AND FOLLOWING THEM TO FEEDERS. THE COMPETITION ASPECT HAS LED TO DEVELOPMENT OF BETTER WAYS TO FARM AND CRAFT ITEMS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF OUR COMMUNITIES. THIS IS ALL DONE IN A UNIQUE AND FUN ATMOSPHERE TO ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION AND TO DEVELOP MEANS TO BE INDEPENDENT AND HELP OTHERS.
