FORECLOSURE INTERVENTION AND DEFAULT COUNSELING - THROUGH PARTNERSHIP AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT, NAAC 501(C)(3) EITHER SPONSORED OR PARTICIPATED IN MORE THAN 77 FORECLOSURE PREVENTION CLINICS IN THE LAST TWO YEARS. NAAC CURRENTLY PROVIDES FINANCIAL EDUCATION AND HOMEBUYER EDUCATION WORKSHOPS, FORCLOSURE PREVENTION CLINICS, MORTGAGE DEFAULT AND DELINQUENCY RESOLUTION COUNSELING, PRE-PURCHASE & POST PURCHASE COUNSELING.MICRO-BUSINESS TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM AIMS TO PROVIDE BUSINESS OWNERS WITH FUNDAMENTAL MANAGEMENT SKILLS TRAINING IN SPECIFIC CORE COMPETENCES NEEDED TO MANAGE AND OPERATE A SUCCESSFUL SMALL BUSINESS. IT IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS WITH DEFINITIVE BLUE PRINTS FOR MANAGING AND OPERATING A SUCCESSFUL MICRO-BUSINESS.PROJECT REBOUND PROGRAM - THE ORGANIZATION PURCHASES OR RECEIVES DONATED RESIDENCES DIRECTLY FROM VARIOUS BANKS AND SELLS THEM TO QUALIFYING PEOPLE THROUGH THE PROJECT REBOUND PROGRAM.AS PART OF ITS PROGRAM SERVICES, THE NATIONAL ASIAN AMERICAN COALITION (NAAC), ON BEHALF OF THE PUBLIC, IS ENGAGED IN ONGOING ADMINISTRATIVE LEGAL PROCEEDINGS BEFORE THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION (CPUC). CPUC IS A GOVERNMENT AGENCY THAT REGULATES PRIVATELY-OWNED UTILITY COMPANIES ENSURING THAT CALIFORNIA UTILITY CUSTOMERS HAVE SAFE, RELIABLE UTILITY SERVICE AT REASONABLE RATES, PROTECTING AGAINST FRAUD, AND PROMOTING THE HEALTH OF CALIFORNIA'S ECONOMY.
