PET THERAPY PROGRAM CONSISTS OF ANIMAL ASSISTED ACTIVITIES, ANIMAL ASSISTED THERAPY, ANIMAL ASSISTED CRISIS RESPONSE AND CHILDREN READING TO DOGS. THERAPY DOGS OF SOUTH FLORIDA IS A PROGRAM CONSISTING OF NINE THERAPY DOGS WHO PROVIDE EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, MOTIVATION, EDUCATION, AND/OR THERAPEUTIC BENEFITS TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF A PATIENT'S OR STUDENT'S LIFE. THE CHILDREN READING TO DOGS PROGRAM. HELP STUDENTS THAT ARE BEHIND, INCLUDING SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS IMPROVE HIGHER FLUENCY, COMPREHENSION READING LEVELS AND IMPROVE SOCIAL SKILLS. 2020 VISITATIONS AMOUNT TO 2,895 DOCUMENTED VISITATIONS THROUGHOUT THE SOUTH FLORIDA COMMUNITY.
