MANNA'S INTENTION FOR 2023 WAS TO EXPAND OUR SERVICES AND PROGRAMS. OUR EXPANSION INVOLVED SPEAKING AT SEVERAL SCHOOLS (5 IN TOTAL), A ROUNDTABLE CONVERSATION FOR TV ON TRAUMA AND ITS IMPACTS, AND CONNECTED WITH ABOUT 20 LOCAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS VIA A CEO ROUNDTABLE. WE PROVIDED COUNSELING FOR TWO COUNTY NONPROFITS THAT FOCUS ON HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES. WE PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS AND INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING SERVICES. DESPITE THAT 2023 WAS A FINANCIAL LOSS OVERALL, THIS WAS LARGELY DUE TO THE ECONOMIC STRAIN. HOWEVER, BECAUSE WE PLANNED FINANCIALLY, WE DID NOT HAVE TO CLOSE OUR DOORS LIKE MANY OTHER SIMILAR PROGRAMS. MANNA STAFF ALSO SPENT A LOT OF TIME THIS YEAR PREPARING FOR OUR COMMISSION ON ACCREDITATION OF REHABILITATION FACILITIES (CARF) REVIEW FOR 2024. WE CLEANED UP TREATMENT DATA FOR ACCURACY IN REPORTING AND STATISTICAL ANALYSIS, WE ATTEMPTED TO START TWO NEW TREATMENT PROGRAMS: MANNA RECOVERY HOUSE AND A FIRST RESPONDER PROGRAM. NEITHER HAPPENED DUE TO THE FINANCIAL LIMITATIONS FROM THE ECONOMY.
WE AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS.
WE HAD 5.305 OUTPATIENT CLAIMS, INCLUDING 1,260 INTENSIVE OUT PATIENT CLAIMS, AND 502 PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION CLAIMS.
