QUALIFIED FAMILIES ARE SELECTED BY HABITAT TO PURCHASE HOMES ON FAVORABLE TERMS. PARTNER FAMILIES AND VOLUNTEERS INVEST HUNDREDS OF HOURS OF THEIR OWN LABOR CONSTRUCTING EACH HOME USING MATERIALS THAT ARE PURCHASED BY OR DONATED TO HABITAT. AS A RESULT, HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF FANNIN & GILMER CO, INC. HOUSES ARE AFFORDABLE TO LOW-INCOME FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITIES IT STRIVES TO SERVE. TOTAL ESTIMATED VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR THIS PROGRAM IN FY 21 ARE 2,999. COST OF HOME SOLD IN FY 2021 WAS $116,908.
