FOR THE YEAR , AROUND 300 BEAGLES AND OTHER HOUND DOGS WERE RESCUED AND PLACED IN NEW HOMES. UPON RESCUE, EACH DOG IS GIVEN A MEDICAL EXAMINATION AND TREATMENT FOR ANY MEDICAL PROBLEMS. ALL VACCINATIONS ARE UPDATED BASED ON THE AVAILABLE HISTORY OF THE DOG. EACH DOG IS SPAYED OR NEUTERED TO ASSIST IN THE FIGHT AGAINST PET OVERPOPULATION. THE DOGS TEMPERAMENTS AND PERSONALITIES ARE MATCHED WITH OTHER SIMILAR DOGS TO EMPHASIZE SOCIALIZATION AND RETRAINING. ALL DOGS HAVE A LIFETIME SANCTUARY UNTIL ADOPTION, IN ACCORDANCE WITH A NO-KILL POLICY.
