MOUNTAIN HEALTH & COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC. (MOUNTAIN HEALTH) PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE PRIMARY CARE SERVICES FOR THE MOUNTAIN EMPIRE REGION, ALPINE, SANTEE, ESCONDIDO AND CENTRAL SAN DIEGO COMMUNITIES. MOUNTAIN HEALTH OFFERS COMPASSIONATE PATIENT CENTERED PRIMARY CLINICAL SERVICES THROUGH ITS MULTIPLE HEALTH CENTERS. COMPREHENSIVE PRIMARY CARE SERVICES INCLUDE HEALTH EDUCATION/PREVENTION SERVICES, WELL-CHILD CHECK-UPS, IMMUNIZATIONS, PHYSICAL AND BEHAVIORAL DEVELOPMENT ASSESSMENTS, NUTRITION COUNSELING, SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELING, ASTHMA AND ALLERGY CARE, DERMATOLOGY CARE, CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT, TUBERCULOSIS SCREENING AND TREATMENT, CANCER SCREENING, WOMEN'S HEALTH/GYNECOLOGY CARE, FAMILY PLANNING SERVICES, MINOR OUT PATIENT PROCEDURES, PRENATAL CARE AND REFERRALS TO SUB-SPECIALTIES AS MEDICALLY INDICATED. ANCILLARY SERVICES INCLUDE ROUTINE LABORATORY TESTS AND DIGITAL IMAGING AT OUR CAMPO AND ALPINE LOCATIONS. MOUNTAIN HEALTH ALSO OFFERS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES, INCLUDING INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP THERAPIES AT SANTEE, COMMUNITY HEIGHTS, ALPINE AND CAMPO LOCATIONS AND ITS OTHER LOCATIONS VIA TELEMEDICINE. THE MOUNTAIN EMPIRE COMMUNITY CENTER (CENTER) OPERATED BY MOUNTAIN HEALTH AND COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC. OFFERS A VARIETY OF SERVICES; INCLUDING A SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM, A SENIOR HOME DELIVERY MEAL PROGRAM, FOOD PANTRY, CASE MANAGEMENT/ELIGIBILITY SERVICES, ASSISTANCE TO RESIDENTS IN DETERMINING ELIGIBILITY AND ENROLLMENT FOR SERVICES SUCH AS FOOD STAMPS AND HEALTH INSURANCE, COMPUTER LAB. THE CENTER ALSO PROVIDES A SAFE PLACE FOR CHILDREN TO GO AFTER SCHOOL TO DO THEIR HOMEWORK AND ENGAGE IN RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES AS THE CENTER MAINTAINS ONE OF THE FEW PLAYGROUNDS IN THE AREA ADJACENT TO IT. THE CENTER ALSO PROVIDES A SUMMER CAMP EXPERIENCE FOR CHILDREN IN THE REGION. THE CENTER STAFF PROVIDE RESOURCES AND INFORMATION FOR ACCESSING LOCAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES.
