IN 2021 CIRCLESRVA, INC. ENGAGED FIVE COHORTS OF LEADERS, A TOTAL OF 28 INDIVIDUALS. ALL LEADERS ARE INDIVIDUALS OR FAMILIES WITH INCOMES LESS THAN 150% OF THE FEDERAL POVERTY GUIDELINE. UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF THE CIRCLES COACH, EACH COHORT OF LEADERS PARTICIPATES IN TRAINING FOR THE SKILLS NECESSARY TO MEETING THEIR GOALS FOR FINANCIAL STABILITY. LEADERS TYPICALLY STAY IN THE PROGRAM FOR 18 MONTHS. THE FIRST COHORT OF FOUR LEADERS GRADUATED IN AUGUST 2020 AND AS A GROUP, THEY MORE THAN DOUBLED THEIR CASH ASSETS, DECREASED THEIR AVERAGE INDIVIDUAL DEBT BY OVER $10,000 AND EACH SECURED RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION. THE SECOND COHORT OF THREE LEADERS GRADUATED IN DECEMBER 2021. ALL THREE INCREASED THEIR INCOMES, MOVING CLOSER TO 200% OF THE FEDERAL POVERTY GUIDELINE. THEY INCREASED THEIR SAVINGS AND CREDIT SCORES AND BUILT LASTING FRIENDSHIPS WITH THEIR MATCHED ALLIES. LEADERS IN COHORTS 3, 4, AND 5 WORKED ON GOALS IN THE AREAS OF EDUCATION, CAREER, MONEY MANAGEMENT AND HEALTH DURING THE YEAR. CIRCLESRVA RECRUITED AND TRAINED AN ADDITIONAL 11 NEW LEADERS FOR COHORT 6. IN ADDITION, 16 PEOPLE COMPLETED ALLY TRAINING IN 2021. ALLIES MAKE AN INTENTIONAL COMMITMENT TO BECOME BOTH CHEERLEADERS AND ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNERS FOR THEIR CIRCLE LEADER. ALTHOUGH CIRCLESRVA'S REGULAR WEEKLY MEETINGS WERE CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY IN 2021, WE CELEBRATED WITH THREE IN-PERSON SPECIAL EVENTS OUTDOORS. VOLUNTEERS DELIVERED OVER 3,000 MEALS AND CARE PACKAGES TO LEADERS. OVER 250 INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS DONATED TIME, MATERIALS AND MONEY TO CIRCLESRVA IN 2021.
