POLITICAL ADVOCACY: EXPENDITURES RELATED TO SAVE ANIMALS GOALS OF ENDEAVORS AT RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT THREATS TO WILDLIFE AND WHAT THE ORGANIZATION IS DOING TO PROTECT CRITICAL SPECIES HAVE BUILT, AND CONTINUE TO EXPAND, THE ORGANIZATION'S PROFILE AND MEMBERSHIP BASE. INFLUENCING STATE, FEDERAL AND INTERNATIONAL POLICIES TO BETTER PROTECT CRITICAL WILDLIFE. EXPENDITURES IN THIS AREA INCLUDE COMMUNICATION AND SUPPORT FOR WORK ENACTING, IMPLEMENTING AND PROTECTING RESTRICTIONS ON WILDLIFE POACHING, AND PRODUCTIONS AND TRAFFICKING OF PRODUCTS MADE ENDANGERED SPECIES, AND ADVERTISING TO VOTERS AND INDIRECT LOBBYING OF ELECTED OFFICIALS URGING SUPPORT FOR THE ENDANGERED SPECIES ACT AND OTHER MEASURES ALIGNED WITH SAFE'S GOALS AND OBJECTIVES.
