WORKSHOPS/SEMINARS THE GIRLIE GIRLS MENTORING PROGRAM ATTACKS THE NEGATIVE BEHAVIORS IN OUR SOCIETY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL AWARENESS SEMINARS FOR ALL ITS MEMBERS. A LARGE VARIETY OF SOCIAL TOPICS ARE COVERED, SUCH AS TEEN DATING, SELFDEFENSE, ALL FORMS OF BULLYING, SELFESTEEM, SOCIAL MEDIA, MORAL DECISIONMAKING, PEER PRESSURE, SEXUAL CONDUCT, JAIL AND PRISON LIFE, DRUGS AND ALCOHOL, PERSONAL HYGIENIC CARE, TEEN PREGNANCY, TEXTING WHILE DRIVING, INTERNET SAFETY, SUICIDE, AND MORE. THESE SEMINARS ARE FACILITATED BY COMMUNITY LEADERS WHO HAVE IMPORTANT ROLES AS STAKEHOLDERS IN HANDLING, CONDUCTING, SUPERVISING, MANAGING, AND REGULATING THESE NEGATIVE SOCIAL BEHAVIORS AND THE TEENS INVOLVED IN THESE MISCONDUCTS IN OUR COMMUNITY. SCHOLARSHIPS SINCE 2015 2022, THE GIRLIE GIRLS MENTORING PROGRAM, INC. HAS AWARDED OUR GRADUATING SENIORS OVER$35,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS. THIS ESTIMATION RANGES FROM $500-$2500 PER YEAR. AN AVERAGE OF FOUR TO SIX SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO GRADUATING SENIORS EACH YEAR. TWENTY-FIVE GIRLS HAVE RECEIVED A SCHOLARSHIP OVER THE PAST TEN YEARS, AND 100% HAVE ENROLLED IN A COLLEGE PROGRAM. WE ARE HONORED THAT DOZENS OF GIRLS AND THEIR FAMILIES HAVE BENEFITED FROM THE SCHOLARSHIPS GIRLIE GIRLS OFFERS. PREPARING THE NEXT GENERATION FOR FUTURE CAREER SUCCESS IS A PRIVILEGE, AND GGMP IS COMMITTED TO MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE GIRLS EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES BY SUPPORTING THEM FINANCIALLY.
