TO WORK WITHIN THE COURT SYSTEM, IN COLLABORATION WITH LOCAL AGENCIES AND RESOURCES TO SERVE AS A CHILD'S ADVOCATE AND TO REPRESENT THE CHILD IN JUVENILE AND OTHER COURTS WHERE THE WELFARE OF THE CHILD IS AN ISSUE.

PROMOTED AND SUPPORTED COURT-APPOINTED VOLUNTEER ADVOCACY TO REPRESENT THE BEST INTEREST OF CHILDREN WHO FIND THEMSELVES IN THE COURT SYSTEM BECAUSE OF ABUSE OR NEGLECT. GATHERED CRITICAL AND OBJECTIVE INFORMATION TO BE USED BY THE COURT IN DECIDING THE MOST BENEFICIAL PLACEMENT OF THESE CHILDREN. DURING THE CURRENT YEAR, OVER 190 CHILDREN WERE SERVED WITH OVER 100 CASES. WE CURRENTLY HAVE OVER 52 ACTIVE CASES INVOLVING OVER 100 CHILDREN AND OVER 50 ADVOCATES. NUMBER OF VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR THIS YEAR WAS APPROX. 18,400.
