FISCAL YEAR 2017-2018 ACCOMPLISHMENTS: - COMPLETED PURCHASE OF PUBLIC SCULPTURE TRAVELING THE APPLEGATE TRAIL - PARTICIPATED IN PHILOMATH DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPES STAKEHOLDER GROUP - PLANNED FOR PUBLIC ARTWORK IN A NEW CITY PARK - ANNUAL ARTWORK MAINTENANCE COMPLETED TRAVELING THE APPLEGATE TRAIL - USING A LARGE SINGLE DONOR CONTRIBUTION, A BENTON COUNTY CULTURAL COALITION GRANT WAS APPLIED FOR AND RECEIVED TO COMPLETE FINAL PURCHASE OF THE SCULPTURE THAT WAS INSTALLED AT THE CITY'S CENTRAL PARK IN 2016. PHILOMATH DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPES STAKEHOLDER GROUP - CONTINUED TO ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN THE PHILOMATH DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPES STAKEHOLDER GROUP PLANNING FOR ENHANCED AMENITIES IN THE DOWNTOWN COMMUNITY CORE TO BE COMPLETED IN 2019 AND INCORPORATING PUBLIC ART PROJECTS INTO THE PLAN WHERE VIABLE.
