SECOND CHANCE S DEDICATED TO THE CARE AND REHABILITATION OF INJURED, SICK AND ORPHANED WILDLIFE INCLUDING MANY RAPTORS. WE ARE LOCATED IN A RURAL, OUT-OF-THE-WAY AREA OF SOUTHEASTERN UTAH AND CARE FOR ANIMALS WHO HAVE NO OTHER OPTIONS. DEPENDING ON THE SEASON, 17 TO 50 ANIMALS ARE SERVED DAILY. SOME OF THE ISSUES WE HAVE CARED FOR INCLUDE IMPACT-TYPE INJURIES CAUSED BY CARS & TRUCKS, GUNSHOT WOUNDS, POISONING, BOTULISM, ELECTROCUTION, ILLEGAL TRAPPING, ORPHANED ANIMALS, AND ILLNESS.
