COMFORT CORNER, INC. COLLECTS, CLEANS, MEND, DISPLAYS AND DISTRIBUTES USED CLOTHING. THIS IS DONE ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9:00 A.M. AND 2:00 P.M., BY A SLATE OF APPROXIMATELY 20 VOLUNTEERS WHO EACH WORK A MINIMUM OF 3 HOURS PER MONTH. COMFORT CORNER, INC. ALSO DISTRIBUTES FOOD TO THE NEEDY, BASED ON USDA GUIDELINES. THESE DISTRIBUTIONS ARE SEMI-MONTHLY ON THE 1ST AND 3RD SATURDAYS OF THE MONTH, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8 A.M. AND 10:00 A.M. THESE FOOD DISTRIBUTIONS ARE STAFFED BY APPROXIMATELY 10-15 VOLUNTEERS. EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FOR HEATING, WATER, ELECTRIC BILLS OR MEDICAL AND DENTAL EMERGENCIES FOR THE NEEDY IS PROVIDED BASES ON BOARD OF DIRECTOR APPROVAL.
