THE FOOD BANK DISTRIBUTED APPROXIMATELY 13.2 MILLION POUNDS OF FOOD TO AGENCIES AND INDIVIDUALS THROUGHOUT 19 COUNTIES IN WEST TEXAS. THIS IS DONE THROUGH PROGRAMS AND STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS WITH APPROXIMATELY OVER 100 COMMUNITY PARTNER AGENCIES INCLUDING FOOD PANTRIES, COMMUNITY KITCHENS, CHURCHES, EMERGENCY ORGANIZATIONS, SHELTERS, RESIDENTIAL CENTERS, SENIOR CENTERS AND YOUTH CENTERS. THE FOOD BANK ALSO PROVIDES EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY AWARENESS ON ISSUES OF HUNGER AND NUTRITION.
