WE PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE, TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE IN A COMPASSIONATE AND NONJUDGMENTAL ENVIRONMENT.

PRIMARY AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES: IN 2022, WE HELPED OVER 1,400 PATIENTS IMPROVE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE BECAUSE OF OUR PRIMARY AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES. WITH A FOCUS ON PROVIDING GENDER-AFFIRMING, TRAUMA-INFORMED, AND HOLISTIC HEALTH SERVICES WE MEET PATIENTS WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY SO THAT THEY CAN ACHIEVE THEIR HEALTHCARE GOALS IN A SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT. IN THE PAST YEAR, NOVUS HEALTH EXPANDED SERVICES TO INCLUDE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH COUNSELING AND PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES. WE ARE DEDICATED TO EXCELLENCE IN CLINICAL CARE THROUGH ROUTINE HEALTH SCREENINGS AND MANAGEMENT OF BOTH ACUTE AND CHRONIC ILLNESSES.OUR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SERVICES INCLUDE GENERAL WELLNESS, TELEHEALTH, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES, WOMEN'S WELLNESS, PHARMACY, MASSAGE THERAPY, AND A PREVENTION PROGRAM. GENERAL WELLNESS PREVENTION SERVICES INCLUDE BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENINGS, CHOLESTEROL SCREENINGS, VACCINATIONS, IMMUNIZATIONS, TOBACCO USE SCREENINGS, MENTAL HEALTH SCREENINGS, AND TUBERCULOSIS SCREENINGS.
CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES: FOR OUR PATIENTS WHO ARE LIVING WITH HIV (PLWH), WE PROVIDE ONSITE CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO RAPIDLY ENGAGE PATIENTS IN THEIR HIV TREATMENT PLAN. THROUGH OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH WILLIAMS & ASSOCIATES (WA), CASE MANAGEMENT STAFF ARE ONSITE AND CO-LOCATED AT NOVUS HEALTH SITES. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH RYAN WHITE PART A, NOVUS HEALTH PROVIDES FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO WILLIAMS AND ASSOCIATES, INC. (WA) FOR BOTH ITS MAIN CLINICAL SITE AND ITS PARTNER SITE AT UNIVERSITY CLUB MEDICAL. RYAN WHITE CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES INCLUDE THE SPECIALTIES OF LINKAGE TO CARE AND INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT, WHICH FOCUSES ON PLWH WITH MENTAL HEALTH, SUBSTANCE USE, OR TRAUMA BARRIERS. KEY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: INITIAL ASSESSMENT OF THE SERVICE NEEDS, DEVELOPMENT OF A COMPREHENSIVE AND INDIVIDUALIZED CARE PLAN, COORDINATION OF SERVICES REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT THE PLAN, CONTINUOUS CLIENT MONITORING TO ASSESS THE EFFICACY OF THE PLAN, PERIODIC RE-EVALUATION, AND ADAPTION OF THE PLAN FOR AT LEAST EVERY SIX MONTHS/AS NECESSARY, AND RESOURCE AND REFERRAL. IN ADDITION, WA @ NOVUS HAS EXPANDED THEIR TEAM TO INCLUDE A LEAD CASE MANAGER AND A TRANSGENDER PEER HEALTH COACH. WA AND THE NOVUS CLINIC TEAM, INCLUDING BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, ALSO INITIATED REGULAR INTERDISCIPLINARY TEAM MEETINGS TO ENSURE CLOSE COLLABORATION AND PATIENT CENTERED WRAP-AROUND SERVICES.FOR PLWH LINKING OR RE-LINKING TO CARE, RAPID START SERVICES ARE PROVIDED WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS. THE PRACTICE PROVIDES HIV CARE TO MORE THAN 1,000 INDIVIDUALS WITHIN THE ST. LOUIS REGION AND SERVES INDIVIDUALS REGARDLESS OF ABILITY TO PAY.
STI AND PREP SERVICES: WE PROVIDE CONFIDENTIAL AND FREE SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTION (STI) TESTING AND TREATMENT. IN 2022, WE SERVED OVER 1,200 PEOPLE WITH OUR STI AND PREP SERVICES. THE CLINIC FOCUSES ON PREVENTION AND EDUCATION WHILE PROVIDING HIGH-QUALITY CARE TO ALL INDIVIDUALS. WE ALSO OFFER FREE CONDOMS, AND TWO COORDINATED SITES FOR STI TESTING AND TREATMENT. STI TESTS WE OFFER ARE: HIV, SYPHILIS, CHLAMYDIA, GONORRHEA, TRICHOMONIASIS, AND HERPES SIMPLEX.PREP (PRE-EXPOSURE PROHPHYLAXIS) IS A MEDICATION THAT CAN REDUCE ONE'S CHANCE OF GETTING HIV FROM SEX OR INJECTION DRUG USE. WHEN TAKEN AS PRESCRIBED, IT IS HIGHLY EFFECTIVE AT PREVENTING HIV. NOVUS HEALTH OFFERED PREP SERVICES TO 229 PATIENTS IN 2022. WE OFFER THESE SERVICES BY APPOINTMENT OR WALK-IN. NOVUS ALSO OFFERS TELEPREP AS AN EASY AND CONVENIENT WAY FOR INDIVIDUALS TO GET THE CARE THEY NEED. THERE ARE MULTIPLE OPTIONS FOR PREVENTATIVE THERAPIES FOR HIV THAT WE ALSO OFFER.
