THE GLASS MUSEUM WAS FOUNDED IN 2002 TO RECORD THE HISTORY OF THE GLASS INDUSTRY WHICH FOR OVER 100 YEARS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE MAINSTAYS OF THE ECONOMY OF FAIRFIELD COUNTY. THIS IS TO SHOW APPRECIATION OF OHIO'S GLASS MAKING CULTURE, HISTORY, AND HERITAGE OF THE AREA AND ITS PEOPLE.
